Jitendra Vara, Osteopath, London

Mr Jitendra Vara (Jitu) qualified as an Osteopath from the European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in 1988.

He then went on to become a senior lecturer at the ESO, which involved lecturing undergraduate and postgraduate students internationally. With specialism in clinical neurology and osteopathic technique for over twenty years.

In his professional career he has managed & operated from clinics in East Sussex and Surrey. Jitendra was one of the first osteopaths to lead an osteopathic team within an NHS medical centre at Sussex University.

His many years of clinical experience in his own private practice has made him a specialist in treating chronic and acute head, neck, shoulder and low back pain caused by occupational and sporting injuries, stress and strains.

With his background of teaching clinical neurology and osteopathic technique, he has formulated his own unique treatment for conditions such as Cervical and Lumbar spondylosis, working closely with Orthopaedic and Neurosurgeons, and also offers post-operative rehabilitation of hips, knees and the spine.

Mr Vara believes in the importance of offering his patients a structural manipulative hands-on approach. More recently he has joined the team at Cavendish Osteopaths, where all the osteopaths support one another and compliment each others technique, and providing great availability and flexibility of appointment times.

He is married and enjoys family life with two teenage children and his dog.
